Indosatm2 di Ubuntu 9.10 KK
Tidak kalah seperti di SO Windows, akhirnya bisa juga melakukan koneksi ke Indosat M2 (IM2) dari desktop Ubuntu 9.10 KK sama halnya seperti dilakukan pada SO Windows.
Dengan cara memasang package “im2-1.0.0B01.deb” yang disertakan pada USB Modem IndosatM2 di Ubuntu 9.10 KK, maka dial ke IM2 bisa dilakukan seperti halnya di SO Windows.
NB. Saat menulis ini, koneksi internet memakai IM2, walaupun sinyal hanya dapat UMTS [ sedih sinyal 3.5G belum dapet .. ;-( ]

Speedy Ping Test
Penasaran dengan koneksi speedy dari telkom, coba-coba melakukan test di pingtest.net. pingtest.net mencari server sendiri yang terdekat … ujung-ujungnya dapet lokasi di Kuta, kok bisa yah ..? Kenapa yang di Jakarta gak ketemu ?

Penasaran dengan hasil tersebut, coba test di Telkom Speedy dan hasilnya seperti ini :
Jika dilihat hasil pinging, beda jauh 98 ms – 57 ms = 41 ms. Lebih lambat memakai dukungan Telkom Speedy …
Kenapa bisa begitu yah … padahal sumbernya sama dari www.ookla.com.
