Instalasi saya lakukan dimulai dengan memasang Debian Squeeze 6.0 dan komponen-komponen yang perlu ada untuk melakukan instalasi PVE agar berhasil. Dokumen Instalasi bisa dilihat disini.

Saya masih memakai server 32bit belum full 64bit, karena ini percobaan awal gara-gara NIC yang bikin frustasi sehingga harus begadang-begadang untuk mengakalinya. Mudah2an pada versi PVE terbarunya driver NIC Atheros Toshiba Satellite L630 sudah disertakan sehingga 5-10 menit server bisa disediakan.

Ini hasil instalasi di Laptop Toshiba Satellite L630 (VT-Only).

Instalasi dilakukan mulai dari dasar, tidak memakai PVE CD yang dijamin lebih mudah, karena sampai PVE 2.0 NIC Laptop Toshiba Satellite L630 tidak bisa terdeteksi sehingga perlu ekstra pikiran dan usaha jika mau melakukan instalasi dari PVE CD.
