Tantangan dan peluang pembelajaran online dengan mempergunakan Moodle masih terus dilakukan.
Tidak hanya berpikir isi dan tampilan serta manfaatnya saja karena saat ini penetrasi teknologi sudah sangat pesat, sehingga perlu cara agar pembelajaran online bisa mudah diakses melalui handheld (tablet atau handphone, utamanya berbasis android).
Ini salah satu aplikasi yg sedang coba dipelajari, belum tuntas. Aplikasi ini sangat potensial untuk mengakses LMS Moodle.

Mahara is an open source e-portfolio system with a flexible display framework. Mahara, meaning ‘think’ or ‘thought’ in Te Reo Māori, is user centred environment with a permissions framework that enables different views of an e-portfolio to be easily managed. Mahara also features a weblog, resume builder and social networking system, connecting users and creating online learner communities.

Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It’s a free open-source web application designed to help educators create effective online learning sites.

Moodle is a course management system (CMS) – a free, Open Source software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities. You can download and use it on any computer you have handy (including webhosts), yet it can scale from a single-teacher site to a University with 200,000 students. This site itself is created using Moodle, so check out the Moodle Demonstration Courses or read the latest Moodle Buzz.

This is example of the implementation moodle CMS on Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional at SMAN 1 Karawang. The Goal is how students can doing the test on LAN with they Laptop.

Objective: To organize and share resources and “good practices” so that teachers and students have a positive Moodle experience that enhances the learning process. The resources presented will focus on the pedagogical implementation of Moodle in a classroom setting (whatever that classroom may look like).
